  My favorite features are the 7 inch screen form factor and the way it's optimized to work with Amazon's content and shopping services.   I thought the 7 inch form factor would be too small.  The screen size and keyboard make it impractical for me to do real work on it. .

It seems to be less important to a generation who writes short forms in e-mail, text messaging and on chat lines. Men especially have complained about their big thumbs as they try to type on the small keyboard. He said the keyboard has to be bigger. I told him they did have a bigger keyboard but it was called a laptop.

I listen to the Arrival soundtrack when I write. I don’t listen to anything else because I want my brain to know—this is writing time.

I enjoyed having a full QWERTY keyboard without all of the keys, in such compact form factor. However, neither the HTC myTouch nor the Samsung Behold 2 have a keyboard. A keyboard is a necessity for me, especially given that I have big thumbs and I like the tactile feel of keys. These were all multi-touch devices.

This time a friendly guy in my Apple Store told me I could pay $200/£100 extra and they would change the keyboard in store for me. installed not OS 10.5.

The form factor of a smartphone is far smaller than a computer, the ability to type quickly is hindered on the tiny keyboard, and a smartphone really cant act as a hub as much as a computer can. This repeats the last function you did (ie inserting a row in Excel) if you press the ctrl Y you will keep inserting rows. Try checking Yahoo Groups or Google Groups.

No ads, small form factor, inexpensive, easy-to-read in the sun…and I can borrow books from my local library on it as well. It syncs via Bluetooth and with my tiny fingers the keyboard actually works rather well (again, I’m using one of the original designs ). If I’m doing any real long-form or book writing, it’s done in Scrivener.
