The process is both fun and stressful at the same time but seeing it all come to life on the website, in emails, and on printed materials is the best part.

If you try to compete on price with Amazon or other giants, you will lose. Email strangers to ask if you can set up a five-minute call. I didn’t validate my ideas. I didn’t focus on a niche.

By charging by the hour you are creating so many barriers to doing business that your chances of securing the order is very small, if you are competing with someone who offers fixed pricing you have virtually no chance of getting the order. And they do work on fixed price basis in most instances. I would be keen to know.
