Usually, they’re getting bogged down with a few tasks in a particular software – they can’t fix footers in Microsoft Word or rearrange pages in an Adobe.pdf file. I’m certainly no expert, but I’ve mastered what I need to solve most issues I’ve run into with any Adobe.pdf file. Invest in a good reference book. Do It Yourself.

It's a great way to save files and photos on the "cloud." Look Ahead I have found that in order to save time, the last thing I do at night is to "look ahead" By look ahead, I mean that I check my calendar and tickler file for what I have scheduled tomorrow.

Our organization uses Google Apps for our e-mail, calendar and cloud solution. By using labels in combination with filters, I am able to automatically sort and label (file) most of my e-mail before it arrives in my in-box. I'll read and delete and save those of interest in a file. Act on the e-mail. so then do it.

  Rather than having sticky notes all over your desk for things you want to get done, put the tasks on your calendar.  Your Physical Information (Paper, books, binders, etc.)   For some people that is a traditional filing cabinet system, but others might find more success with cubbies in their office.
