Use your cell phone alarm Chances are, you use your calendar to remind you about meetings and any important events. However, I found that not helpful and I’ve always used my cell phone’s alarm clock.

Having VAs I can simply fax order forms to. I like having a long battery life and having the full functionality of the Windows Platform on my phone. My calendar syncs with my Apple products as well. I have Dropbox on my phone as well so I can easily send documents to my consultants while on the road. Another life saver?

Since Outlook only allows for one time zone to be added to the persons calendar , this makes it a little difficult. As for the DST, it really does mess things up. I am currently in the process of doing this for one of my managers. I need to book meetings for him to travel to firms all over Canada.

Telemarketing is my number one annoyance in advertising and as soon as I answer the phone and get that few seconds of dead air, that is my queue to hang up. Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. Oh, I agree.

You can set them up to send all emails from a particular sender to a folder to make it easy for you to find. Sometimes we end up on a lot of lists that we had not intended to be on.

Use the notebook for everything you want to keep track of: to do lists, grocery lists, client meetings, phone calls, dreams and goals. "Heads Up.
