Now, take a look at your business card, brochures or other social media profiles.    The other day I was in a meeting and saw a card that had the back covered with 2 different QR codes and the front had a few different urls. .    Some would say that having a Google profile is all that you need.

Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). By taking a photo of someone’s business card the app allows you to immediately transfer their contact details to your phone or tablet.

I always have tons of stamps, thank you cards, blank cards, and stationary on hand along with pre-printed address labels. or other similar ones.

Update your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+ profiles – keep going until you’ve updated every account you have. An alternative is to set up a Google Alert to email you updates revolving around a keyword or phrase that you’re interested in and that relates to what you offer.

What’s the point of having 3,500 twitter followers or 1,000 facebook friends? The smallest building block of this circle is your business card (if we’re talking about business relationships). I gave up business cards a while ago. In fact, I think following those numbers can be deceiving to some degree.

I also can use the recording to make a cd and give to potential clients or current clients instead of a business card or brochure. Most people remember to click the "share on Facebook" (or Twitter, Digg, etc.) Or consider incorporating it in Google Adwords campaigns, driving people to a landing page with your content.
