I love this tool on my desktop or on my phone because it helps me update every social media platform from one place, at one time. With TinyScan, you can scan your documents at anywhere and store or email them as PDF files. LinkedIn Card Munch. I network a lot and I always come back to the office with a ton of business cards.

From there, you can text, tweet or write memos without needing to find a computer or laboriously typing it out on the tiny keyboard of a mobile phone. Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check your details on the go.

Whenever you receive confirmation emails from any bookings you can forward it to plans@tripit.com and they will add the details to the itinerary. Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check details on the go. The app then sends you an email with their details.

The Dymo business card scanner app for the iPhone  is such a product.    You download the app to your iPhone (they also support other smartphones) and when you take a picture of a business card it automatically adds the appropriate information to your contact list.   It's also kinda fun to use.

Do you find that your staff are not being consistent with their memos, e-mails , the way they answer the phone , etc.? Another option is to create templates in Microsoft Office and either e-mail them to everyone or place them on a network drive for everyone to access. Just make sure to protect the documents, spreadsheets, etc.

It even happened to me a few times, where people would create files themselves, then send it around to others to review and make changes, but never save it on the network drive. This happens to office workers all of the time. Then a new person comes in, taking over the work and wonders why they cant find the old file.
