If you can learn to work with them, you have skills that 99.9% They have no/poor communication skills, they lack intra and interpersonal awareness. And congrats on landing the interview!

Grow & learn; read, talk to mentors, attend training or a conference, watch webinars, etc. Talk about the situation and listen to supportive feedback. Evaluate the situation and focus on facts.

Your resume should always be able to reflect that you’ve kept up on the latest training and skills. Becoming too comfortable in your career and with your skills can set you up for problems if you suddenly find yourself out of work. Find a mentor. Update (or build) your resume. Be the dumbest person in the room.

But in reality – the most useful skill that opened a lot of doors for me were my soft skills. Any recruiter who sees your resume will silently wonder the following questions. 1) Do you have the admin skills to be an EA? Whether based on your cover letter or resume, recruiters only take 6 seconds to see if you are match.

It also looks bad on one’s resume. Reduce the stress and annoying things in your life to maximize your happiness. When you leave your job, other companies will only consider you for jobs of equal or higher pay and skills. Volunteer and mentor online by being an email pen pal. If you can buy happiness/time - buy it.
