I printed these off and had them next to my keyboard whenever I was working through another set of meeting notes. I used to find that I repeated the same words over and over to describe the decisions made and actions agreed. So a few years ago I wrote out a list of 50 handy verbs that I could slot into the minutes as and when I needed them.

Some people in the office were trying to get the remote working as we had a PowerPoint presentation coming up and were calling it things like remote thingy , remote slide clicker, wireless mouse so I finally asked, "Does anyone know what the official name for that thing is?" I was in a workshop today on presentation skills and one of the things they had us do was present something to the group while they filmed us. Other than the extra work I need to do at the gym to tone up and trim down, I saw some good qualities as well and it was helpful to see myself present. Thanks Anonymous for sharing.

The form factor of a smartphone is far smaller than a computer, the ability to type quickly is hindered on the tiny keyboard, and a smartphone really cant act as a hub as much as a computer can. And that gap presents an opportunity to break bad habits and change patterns. At first glance this may seem counterproductive to some.
