I kid you not… most all the trouble we’re having in this situation is that our computer driven piece of office equipment has run out of memory (RAM) or has gotten caught up on any number of “glitches&# that fix themselves when you turn the device off and then on again! And do you know what they do? Stay in the know!

This can be quite difficult sometimes because of the amount of information and computer equipment there is to give to a new starter. Senior members of the team may not be aware of how much you have to do before someone joins the company, so share your checklists with them and stress that you need to know as soon as the role has been filled.

The last thing you want is to have malfunctioning equipment and not knowing how to fix it or who should fix it! If you look stressed and/or are rushing around looking flustered the delegates are going to see this and think the event hasn’t been organised well. Keep smiling on the day of the event!
