They are then placed in a reference (Rolodex) file by type of business and not the name. I File Them (Then I Forget Them). When it's accepted, I go to their profile and download their vCard into Outlook, adding any other contact info by reading their business card (the vCard never has a phone number, for example.)

The Air has less than half the storage of my old MacBook Pro, so my goal is always to keep it lean and mean. Downloads Folder. By appending certain letters in front of file names (like “VME” for this weblog), Hazel knows to put what documents into what folder. Blue: Files that have been on the machine for 1 week or less.

One task at a time, getting my full attention -- that was my goal. I also downloaded a small cell phone application called Jotter. To make unitasking realistic in the time that I had, I had to conquer the email demon -- reduce the amount of email I receive, and make sure that email time is time used effectively.

Use the notebook for everything you want to keep track of: to do lists, grocery lists, client meetings, phone calls, dreams and goals. Putting the date on the pages helps reference notes from meetings, etc. Create email folders same as you would for word doc and paper files. Write everything in the notebook.
