Any time you interview where this situation occurs you are allowed to ask very politely. Successful executives are rarely lazy and slow if they earned their title from being promoted through hard work and not nepotism, etc. Ask polite questions, know yourself, interview them as well. Also keep in mind, not all jobs work out.

It also means going on job interviews or meeting with any agency that calls you because they will often keep you in their database when the right job does come up. Believe it or not, some assistant jobs actually prefer you have an Ivy League degree even if they ask for a career assistant or to promote them up the chain.

I was willing to work hard and in a demanding environment, but I was specific with what I wanted. I also had to listen in interviews really well. Took some time to familiarize myself with the iPad environment but in the end I made it. Had to mentor projects and give advice to the attendees, evaluate the pitches and pick a winner. From the selection phase, going through the interview and negotiation phases, all seemed incredibly familiar. Launched my first iPad app.
