I conducted a short project, where I surveyed all of the consultants to find out what they needed from their accommodation. It is easy to negotiate on the price per night with a serviced apartment as they do tend to discount on block bookings. My director gave me the task of reducing this spend by 20%.

To counteract this I sent out a really quick email survey asking the team what they wanted to do and how much they were willing to pay etc. A medium-sized area in a restaurant with 2 round tables serving tapas food for everyone to share, following lunch the guests moved into a second room to enjoy a few drinks and watch a live band.
