To add a second time zone to your calendar go to Options >Calendar>Time zones>Show a second time zone. If you want to highlight your Executive’s emails so that you see them as soon as they come into your inbox you can change the colour of the subject heading.

There are just too many passwords to remember, and that doesnt include my bosss passwords that I also need to know because I have to check his emails as well as my own. Of course the simple solution would be to have the same password for every aspect of your life, but nope that doesn’t work. Back to the drawing board.

Try to anticipate the need so you can have the file or the answer your boss needs, before he or she even knows they need it. Be protective of your boss’s time. A good assistant knows just where to find the document or file needed, or they won’t stop looking till they do. Be one step ahead of your boss.

I had no idea this could be done, but I was thrilled when I got her email, but it just proved to me once again that we are all holding on to things we take for granted that others know about. The tip she sent me was how to edit an email that you have received. Close out of the email and you will be asked to Save the changes.

At one office I worked in we had a mail cart with slots for everyones mail, but it was filed First name, Last name. the phone book, standard filing practices etc.) My boss calls them Grrr!
