Some of my words were: learning, energy, gratitude, business, fun, warmth, generosity, and laughter. For 2018, my word is “grow.” The words I wrote around “grow” are: Knowledge (I have so much more to learn.). I have been blessed with a special gift that I have been using for 27 years—inspiring others to be their very best.

Leslie Jordan: Repurposing Your Gifts. Jordan had a social media presence prior to the pandemic, having joined Instagram in September 2018. It’s also a great example of how someone can take their gifts— in Jordan’s case, stage presence, comedic timing and storytelling—and repurpose them, like he did from on-screen to online.

As it pertains to design, surprise and delight is a design and marketing technique that attracts and nurtures users by offering positive experiences and unexpected rewards like gifts or one-of-a-kind events. Designs that incorporate active spaces such as stairs, quiet rooms, and learning spaces also support the hormone’s release.

You can bet I prioritize gift givers’ emails and look for ways to help them.

Start by learning about them via LinkedIn , Google, Facebook and even the customers’ own webpages; you’ll arm yourself with their photographs, knowledge of their businesses, circles, hobbies, favorite music and special interests. But two years ago, my company sent each of 50 clients a Christmas gift from Chicago Steaks.
