If you can prove yourself as a good worker you can go up through the ranks and because they already know how you work, they are more apt to promote you. The administrative position can be a springboard for a management position if you want to go in that direction and have the right educational background.

Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. Telemarketing is my number one annoyance in advertising and as soon as I answer the phone and get that few seconds of dead air, that is my queue to hang up.

Use social media functions with trust: retweet, like, promote. Most of the time, digital friendships last as long as the underlying hidden agenda’s of both parties last. You live in different time zones, you may have different interests, or different family lives. Start a dialogue. What can go wrong? This is sad.

I realized I already had a significant code base behind me and every change that should propagate in this code base would require from now on a really really important amount of time.
