There are some companies that, unfortunately, don’t allow for purchases such as stationary , fax machines , toner , etc. Do you feel that you could find better buys, not just by going to the different stores such as Staples or Grand & Toy , but online as well? Then I have my faxes set up as green. For example, I receive an e-mail from my direct supervisor. This will show up in red, since I know I have to get to this one first, before I can even touch any other one. I know that this would be next, since people depend on these quite a bit around my office.

Another option is to create templates in Microsoft Office and either e-mail them to everyone or place them on a network drive for everyone to access. This way, everyone will have to follow the exact same details as are set out. This way, everyone will be using the exact same documents , spreadsheet , etc. so that they dont get changed.

I wasnt sure if this was possible, but fiddled around on Google a bit and found that it is possible. Do you already have a table set up in Microsoft Word, but dont want to copy to Microsoft Excel and back again, just to sort it? One of my colleagues came to me and asked about this very question.

I’ve searched Google and they say to use the drawing tool. One of my readers asks: I’ve been making labels in Microsoft Word using text boxes. I’ve sent a couple of the text boxes to the back, but for the life of me can’t get them to ‘bring to front’ again. I can’t seem to find that either!

It even happened to me a few times, where people would create files themselves, then send it around to others to review and make changes, but never save it on the network drive. This happens to office workers all of the time. Then a new person comes in, taking over the work and wonders why they cant find the old file.
