In 2022, a Bain and Company survey revealed that 61% of employees under thirty-five were most concerned about their job security and finances (compared to 41% over thirty-five). According to the BBC report , researchers have found that the stress endured by this generation is due to a conflation of several unfortunate events.

Some examples include software design/development; product management; networking/system administration; finance; and government contracts administration. So I recently asked my lovely readers to complete a survey on the blog and also asked a few questions around the assistant profession itself and two such questions were – ‘what do you enjoy most about the role?’ The possibility of working at any type of company (industry, finance, etc).

Which events shaped them? In my background, I have a Master’s Degree in Shakespearian Literature, from the University of Warwick, England… and I have an MBA in Finance from Babson College. If you want to be kick-ass in your business, whatever it is you do, look back in time. What made them think that? Seems odd, right?

Billionaires, statistically speaking, are no happier than millionaires, and millionaires no happier than whatever you call people earning 6-figure salaries. I think it’s funny when they come to me wanting a breakthrough in their business or finances, and I get them talking about their values.
