Only check email at certain times. You’re not going to do yourself any favors by checking your email every 30 seconds. But having fewer emails landing in your inbox will really make a difference to your inbox overwhelm and will allow you to focus only on those mentors/teachers that serve you best. Don’t follow the shoulds.

Thanks to the comment on this thread by user “cychiu&# , I learned that the contact form plugins use php mail() function, and that not all webhosts allow that. It was easy enough to configure, I simply went into the settings I use in my Outlook to send out my email and used those settings. and yahoo , failed to send your message.

One person can be great at software programs and know all sorts of tricks to get things done quickly and another might be excellent at organizing and managing their email account. I have been on some interactive sites where assistants ask questions and get answers and I learn from them as I have some of the same questions.
