It now has over 150 free personal excellence articles and free ebooks, chocked full of content and value. There are 1-2 ad channels here and there, a free ebook gets readers to sign up for their feed, 2-3 affiliate products and a bunch of amazon links. I use excel workbook because it’s so easy to organize information.

As of January 2009 I started to actively promote the blog, becoming active (some say that I become even too active ) in social media outlets like Twitter , FaceBook and StumbleUpon. You gotta promote your blog, otherwise you’ll never reach to your audience. Promotion is definitely key. Another huge mistake. I was so wrong.

I took this voyage under the guide of the International Student Volunteer (ISV) organization with other American college students. We then traveled from Sydney north to Cairns for two and a half weeks stopping by many spots to experience the outdoor side of Aussie during the day and the libation side of Aussie at night.

If you got an organic Facebook audience, I guess the most important thing is to be consistent. I personally met a few bloggers I respect while I was traveling last year and it was a fantastic experience. I had a few myself, but not enough to draw some clear conclusions or to create some repetitive processes out of them.

I feel it almost organically. But sometimes is something like: “my life has really changed and I was able to leave behind an ugly/abusive/unhappy time, thank you”. Whenever I receive one of these messages, something starts to melt inside me. As you can see, these ways of measuring your online reputation have almost nothing to do with numbers.

By starting to organize the app at a higher level I created a bit of light over the whole project. I was also able to promote a task to a project in Assess. Now I had a complete visual implementation: tasks were nicely organized by date in Today, Soon and Overdue. Calling the class in other views was problematic, though.
