When the HVAC system was installed, someone thought we might want the user manual for the system: a 400 page PDF document. Instead of filing the PDF on the network, the document was printed and placed in a filing cabinet , where it will sit until doomsday. I can print any web page to pdf and store it on the drive.

You can also try printing in draft mode and a smaller font for internal documents, buying chlorine-free paper, avoid colour printing, PDF your policies and handbooks and host them online or on the company servers rather than keeping print copies and shred and reuse unwanted documents as packing material.

Your business policies: Policies like communication methods, business hours, late payment policies and the like should be included here. Package these documents together in a.pdf or. pdf portfolio for e-mailing to anyone asking about your business, services or rates.

If possible, “Go Green,&# eliminate the paper clutter and file documents electronically. Recycle Papers Continue with the Go Green Initiative and recycle documents that are no longer necessary. In an effort to eliminate paper, you may want to scan the document, save it as a PDF, and file it in an electronic file.
