With a merchant account you can very easily accept all major credit cards without your clients and customers having to go via Paypal (this is a great option for a secondary payment processor). Have clear payment policies in place. And, most importantly, you can set your client payments up for automatic recurring billing.

They are so desperate for clients that they’re willing to take on anyone who waves their credit card in front of them, even though they know in their hearts that this may not be the right client for them.
