Tech glitches happen all the time and 2 people controlling one person's calendar is not the easiest thing. You answer the phone, book travel, offer beverages to guests, book meetings, prepare the conference room, order food, etc. If you are out sick, a temp will have to sub for you. The fewer cooks in the kitchen, the better.
