Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). Here are a few of my favourites: Travel. This app is slightly more expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot.

Here are some of my favourites: Great Apps: Travel. This app is slightly expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot. Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check details on the go. It is also handy for when your manager is travelling.

Do you find that your staff are not being consistent with their memos, e-mails , the way they answer the phone , etc.? Another option is to create templates in Microsoft Office and either e-mail them to everyone or place them on a network drive for everyone to access. Just make sure to protect the documents, spreadsheets, etc.

The Dymo business card scanner app for the iPhone  is such a product.    You download the app to your iPhone (they also support other smartphones) and when you take a picture of a business card it automatically adds the appropriate information to your contact list.   It's also kinda fun to use.

It even happened to me a few times, where people would create files themselves, then send it around to others to review and make changes, but never save it on the network drive. This happens to office workers all of the time. Then a new person comes in, taking over the work and wonders why they cant find the old file.

I work in a back office environment, where 99% of our client interaction is via the phone, e-mail or outside of the office, so I can wear jeans and a t-shirt. It would be interesting to see how many companies would allow for this type of dress code, since quite a lot of places have client visits on a regular basis.
