We do it as a way of getting to a place of feeling safe, and confident in our purchase. Where we do tend to ask for sample work is with people who aren’t perceived as professionals, and/or who aren’t running businesses we feel safe with. And what do you say to that? But that’s still not the same as agreeing to do a sample project.

When the HVAC system was installed, someone thought we might want the user manual for the system: a 400 page PDF document. Instead of filing the PDF on the network, the document was printed and placed in a filing cabinet , where it will sit until doomsday. I can print any web page to pdf and store it on the drive. It adds up.

Sadly, the outsourcer failed to purchase software, installing the same copy again and again. The company paid a penalty to exit the contract and had to purchase the unlicensed software, taking a serious hit to profitability. Policies and Procedures. How does equipment get purchased?

In an effort to eliminate paper, you may want to scan the document, save it as a PDF, and file it in an electronic file. Look into purchasing an all-in-one fax, printer, and copier. Recycle Papers Continue with the Go Green Initiative and recycle documents that are no longer necessary. Then decide to shred or recycle the document.

And I definitely don’t want to purchase something from a company I can’t trust to ask me nicely to pay attention to what they’re doing. megs’ worth of PDF. Forty-five minutes later, I open the PDF, and the first thing I see is a spelling mistake. My email lists are not for sale, and I don’t purchase email list.
