When the HVAC system was installed, someone thought we might want the user manual for the system: a 400 page PDF document. Instead of filing the PDF on the network, the document was printed and placed in a filing cabinet , where it will sit until doomsday or at least until someone cleans out those files. It adds up. It adds up.

Sadly, the outsourcer failed to purchase software, installing the same copy again and again. The company paid a penalty to exit the contract and had to purchase the unlicensed software, taking a serious hit to profitability. Make sure your outsourcer understands the strategy, and there is a process to approve projects.

And I definitely don’t want to purchase something from a company I can’t trust to ask me nicely to pay attention to what they’re doing. megs’ worth of PDF. Forty-five minutes later, I open the PDF, and the first thing I see is a spelling mistake. My email lists are not for sale, and I don’t purchase email list.

We can create temporary monopolies by making things so unique, interesting or valuable to charge a premium but it is a never ending process of constant innovation and added value. That would make it the norm, the expected… would there still be resistence to purchase? That is an economic fact that can’t be debated.

However, we've decided instead to put all the exercises together into a workbook and market it alongside the book as a "free bonus" to make the purchase of the book that much more attractive. Once the amount of information completely overwhelms anyone’s ability to process it, people will pay for trust. Any money you make in the process (or turning it into a viable full-time living) should be a luxury, an extra added bonus. My blog is my proof of purchase. And I’m not too worried about it either.
