I would ask how long the temp status was for, and negotiate a deal that makes sense for you to not have sick days, paid holidays, benefits, etc. I’d see my co-worker and the spouse at the grocery store, at the local sushi restaurant, etc. But to me the length of the temp status wouldn’t change my answer most likely, and here’s why.
