You can actually do and say all that AS LONG AS you don’t say it with too much desperation, emotion, stress, and general freaking out-ness. Look for a job CONFIDENTIALLY. State that on your resume, in your cover letter, over the phone, and don’t tell anyone at work. I would not mention you might get laid off. Should you stay?
