Here are some tips that help me: Turning off all of the rings, dings, and notifications for email, Slack, and messaging on my phone and computer. It stays in front of me throughout the day on a bright notepad sitting on the right hand side of my keyboard. © 2022 Julie Perrine International, LLC.

Email is still the primary communication channel for the vast majority of businesses both internally and externally. If you’re leading the meeting you can take your notes in with you and if you need to make notes during the proceedings you won’t need to annoy your colleagues by tapping on a laptop keyboard.

The more difficult macros are the ones that are programming code related and require knowledge of Visual Basic (you can find some books here) , which unfortunately, I have no training in. You can also add this macro to your toolbar or assign a keyboard shortcut by clicking on the buttons below and following the instructions.

Sometimes I wish I had something to warn me when I am with someone with a cell phone so I can know that we are going to be interrupted. I find it frustrating when people either text while in a conversation or are constantly taking phone calls. Apparently not, when its by phone. In an emergency, the cell phone is a useful tool.
