No meeting multitasking: It’s inappropriate to multitask during meetings – for example looking at your phone. It is also very bad form to carry on working while on a call; everybody will realise your mind is elsewhere and hear the incriminating clatter of your keyboard.

Here are some tips that help me: Turning off all of the rings, dings, and notifications for email, Slack, and messaging on my phone and computer. It stays in front of me throughout the day on a bright notepad sitting on the right hand side of my keyboard. I use email rules for the messages or notices I should be interrupted for.

If you’re leading the meeting you can take your notes in with you and if you need to make notes during the proceedings you won’t need to annoy your colleagues by tapping on a laptop keyboard. Trains, hotels and other public places often promise Wifi connectivity these days but in reality you may not get what you expect.

My iPad has an awesome case and keyboard made by Zagg (in red of course to match my business brand!). I always synch all of my files from my main Mac computer in my home office to Dropbox so that I am sure to have all of them handy while on the road by using the app on my phone and tablet. An iPad (or any Tablet) is a Must. .

The more difficult macros are the ones that are programming code related and require knowledge of Visual Basic (you can find some books here) , which unfortunately, I have no training in. You can also add this macro to your toolbar or assign a keyboard shortcut by clicking on the buttons below and following the instructions.
