By the end of the call her husband had caught her crankiness and it ended up with them both being angry. She ended up calling her husband back and apologizing for her bad mood. I invited half a dozen people but the word spread like wildfire and almost the entire product and engineering team showed up a little after 5:30pm. I originally just invited six people, but about thirty+ showed up. And part of that is managing up - bringing things to their boss' attention and up the chain it goes.
