I saw it during the welcome reception, all day during the trainings, and as we finished, the admins were sharing emails, phone numbers, and business/personal cards to keep in touch. Melia: I am on the phone and helping people and groups all year by answering questions, helping with registration, assisting with hotel information, etc.

I also get a lot of phone calls from an array of people about all sorts of things. Sometimes I need my bosses to tell me what they would like prioritised if I have a lot of work on so I don’t stress about what to do – I’m not afraid to reach out or ask for help. What does an average day look like? Busy – sometimes crazy busy!

The cards are all made with recycled paper and you can even include a gift if you like and this company will send it off for you. I recently sent an admin assistant friend a card to acknowledge all the hard work she does every day and included a gift of brownies. I sent another assistant a comical card about being stressed out at work.
