Sometimes e-mail is not the best way to communicate and it needs to be followed up by a phone call or face-to-face short meeting. Put it in a folder for your boss’s signature in completed form, i.e. envelope clipped to letter and attachments. Once you have a handle on that, then you can go about learning your job.

All important information, but I knew I couldnt possibly retain much of what I was looking at in one sitting so I started to cheat and flip through a few tabs because I had to sign a form that I read the manual. If there are forms that need to filled in and it has a due date in June, I put those forms in the June folder with a bf date on it for a week before it is due. I create a corresponding Task reminder and write something like this: WAITBIN need to prepare form for production by March 23rd. Oh where or where is my password?
