One of the most surprising things for me was to learn that not all companies will give you an expense account or a company credit card. That’s assuming you have enough free time to do an expense report immediately for 2 hours on top of your already busy schedule. Have money for job hunting and working.

Here are some money management tips I've learned over the years that may help you. Always buy the most expensive health insurance you can afford. If you don't qualify for insurance on your own or lose your job - there is COBRA, your work's insurance plan, or your spouse's. Do a great job. So the short answer is yes.

2) Now that I'm job hunting again my biggest obstacle is HR or executives see not working for a CEO is a step down for me even though I don't see it that way. All my jobs have been with major corporations or conglomerates which also means only so many exist in the world and also in Los Angeles/entertainment industry.

We can learn so much from history, but as soon as things start to do well again, we seem to forget everything we learned. At least they will be that way for a couple of years!

It is known that age only plays a factor because the more years you have worked for a company the more expensive an employee is because of their salary, overtime, and other perks/benefits that are considered in the overall compensation package (401k matching, retirement, etc).
