I had a big learning curve going into it and I didnt know any of the other assistants so I felt all alone with my challenges. Ive been in these types of situations quite often, but have learned over time that many photocopiers these days have functions so advanced that it can clean your floors, do your dishes and tuck your kids in at night. She also mentions that she needs it completed urgently, since she had to schedule a meeting with some clients right away.

The worst time to write an email is when you are angry. I wouldnt recommend talking about a co-worker with someone at the office or it ends up being gossip and spreads a bad feeling about that person. This happens with e-mail as well. My boss calls these types of e-mails "crankograms." 411 Look Up 411.ca

We learn that not all apples are red and “no” certainly doesn’t have to mean disappointment. We learn that being sweet doesn’t always equate with generosity. Share what you have learned with your boss. Putting the asterisk makes sure it is first on my list. There are many other things you can do with rules so take the time to check them out and feel your way around. It will be worth the effort. Most executives I know want the help and this would be a great way of organizing them.
