Years ago, when I worked for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), I took a training course on a Telex machine. Again, when I worked at the RCMP, I went on a training course for a machine to do criminal record checks. Of course I had to tell everyone at the office. * Needless to say -- it worked!

You can get it for the Mac , the iPad , or the iPhone, and each experience is a little different on one platform than on the next ( by design, of course ). It syncs via Bluetooth and with my tiny fingers the keyboard actually works rather well (again, I’m using one of the original designs ). Any of Patrick Rhone’s books.

Although it’s been more than 7 months since I’ve published it, I still get a few re-tweets per week and a decent number of monthly thank you emails. After I finish, I send the generated mind map as an email attachment. For that, I’m using Quicksilver, the MacJournal shortcut and self-addressed emails. That’s all.

The good part of waking up then is that I’ll often write whole blog posts or emails in my head, and they’re generally quite good.
