Instead, now… I’ll admit it: I keep three calendars: 1) The TO-GO PLANNER, which is a dual week-at-a-glance/month-at-a-glance color-coded piece of brilliance I found at The Container Store, and which I take EVERYWHERE with me. It’s rudimentary, but it made sense to me. This way, I get to use three!

It’s a good end state to work towards, but it really refers to a state of balance in terms of working locations. And by that it really refers not just to working hours, but more control over your work week. Maybe they’re investing in some home office solutions. There’s nothing wrong with hybrid.

Oh, did I mention that your meeting confirmation hits your google, outlook or web calendar as well as generates a confirmation email. Evernote allows me to upload, add, bookmark, etc anything that I would like to store as a "note" for future reference. That's why I've been "tungling" ever since the BETA version.

While yearly planners are great for reference, they really dont let you to plan much of anything. These are great tips to read before going off to spend money on a calendar. I'm keeping all these tips in mind as I'm now going into my home office to clean up and put up my yearly wall planner--just for an overview of '11.
