They either block off time that they shouldn’t have or they block it off so that it either shows that they’re busy, but really out of the office or vice versa. Then you end up going back and forth to try to figure out what works for everyone. Imagine if you had a large number of people doing this.

It’s considered a more family friendly environment. Leadership potential is quite different, since you can move up within the company quite quickly, as opposed to a smaller firm, where it might be family run. You don’t want to end up looking for another job. You get to have more one-on-one contact with your clients.

Then, all files are set up in an excel file with columns for File #, property address, closing date, owner (whatever data important) - then sorts are run and printed so files can be referenced and found by whatever criteria you need.

First of all Ive worked for an organization as an admin asst for years and during this time I have seen many co-workers leave and have had to put up with a lot. Did you take it up each level all the way to the top? If all else fails, you might want to start considering what type of work environment you are in.

If you need to warm up your lunch, please try to keep it in the lunch room. Its up to the individual to analyze this culture in addition to the individual relationships around them. The constant noise from that drives me up a wall. In the mean time Im going to discretely tape up a copy of your etiquette rules somewhere public.

I personally use a Franklin Covey planner because I love the look of the pages, but many other companies make planner pages with the same set-up.  Thinking Through A Pen As a writer, I enjoy being able to open up my planner to jot things down. Keeps all your appointments, contacts and email in one spot so it's all synched up.
