.   Despite the shift away from cable/satellite services, it does not yet appear that American's love affair with TV has ended.    Nielsen also recently reported that the average U.S. home has 2.93 TV sets , up from 2.86   The average TV owning home has 2.5 residents, so the average U.S. View an alternate.

Large Companies Recovering - Small Businesses Still in Recession

  The good news is the cost cutting resulted in small businesses being able to improve their margins and profits in Q2 versus a very bad Q2 in 2009. .  In response to the sales declines, the Intuit Trends Index shows small businesses cut expenses by 27%.    The implications of this data are pretty clear.

An Overview of the Non-Profit Sector

  It likely fell again in 2009.  .  Most of the data on non-profits pre-date the recession, so we don't have a good sense of its impact on the number of non-profits.    Donation data is more current and fell 5.6%   But we don't think this resulted in a decline in the number of small non-profits.
