It wasn’t easy, but by internalizing the following five tips, I was able to turn my negative attitude into a positive one : 1. Try seeking out a trusted colleague or mentor to take this challenge with you. Then one day I asked myself, what are they doing that is different? So how did I do it? Switch gears. My mentor, Earl Shoaff, got me started on mine. We need to know about American history, international history, family history and political history. We all need to build a good library. But we made this internal promise to stick with it because, years ago maybe, it looked like a good option. That being said, I am incredibly happy to witness a real change in my lifestyle.
