As I was doing research for other articles on this blog I came across the International Association of Administrative Professionals' website ("IAAP") and was reminded of the advantages of being part of a professional organization. I was previously a member of IAAP when I was at another firm.

Invest your time to customize your cover letter and your resume. I belong to several professional organizations and find value in each of them.

Cost varies based on IAAP membership. Office Dynamics International. However, to be honest…it’s not enough. World Class Assistant.

Try the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP); this organization also has certification opportunities that are great resume enhancements. Get involved.

Make sure your resume is up to scratch: Your resume should list your skills, your experience in working as a virtual assistant, and any other capabilities that you think potential employers are looking for. Polish up the ol resume It is all right to send your resume out and see what kind of response you get. In this new age of not doing anything more than a quick spell check on documents, make sure you do not have any spelling mistakes in your resume. Job satisfaction is important. They are interested, now what? Excellent material!

Do you ever get a meeting request and an agenda has not been provided, or if it is a teleconference the call-in details have not been given or the boardroom hasnt been booked for an internal meeting? Whose responsibility is it anyway? When booking meetings ownership of the meeting has to be established. Excellent material! 411 Look Up 411.ca
