I’ve known assistants to turn down jobs once they saw their desk and where they would sit - old furniture, very darkly lit, they’d have to pay for their own parking, very low morale or poor employee engagement - no coffee, no break room, etc. Job hunting and dating are very similar. Can you work on weekends and/or holidays?
