Temp, volunteer, apply for PT work and list that as your present role. So, it's best to search for temporary, short-term admin work via temping, volunteering, applying for part time work so you have something to put on your resume. I think this tip bears no real explanation as by Googling different resume types you'll get the gist.

Google for the UTA list and sign up for all email lists and job boards for the entertainment industry, network with people you know, send your resume and cover letter snail mail to every company you want to work at to the attn of the recruiting department, and establish an online presence so headhunters find you via LinkedIn and job sites.

Sometimes companies don’t validate for parking especially if you are doing testing at a temp agency and are there for a few hours. So if you have a good credit score it’s more peace of mind for your executive and company. Have enough credit.

Create an office bible In case you get sick, go on vacation, or get hit by a bus, it’s always good to have an office bible so your temp or co-worker can have info at their fingertips when needed. And you might be interested in being another sort of ninja too. LOL You can also call your office line and leave yourself a voicemail, if helpful.

Other jobs, because they were temp to full time, I didn’t even have the benefits of paid vacation time or paid sick days for almost a year. It always perplexes me when small companies do not hire a temp or have in mind another staff person to fill in for the admin or EA to go on a vacation or call in sick. Look into it.
