Along with our multiple work passwords, we have a password for our home computer, and if we sign up for Facebook, Twitter or any other website, we have another password to remember. I hope you keep your address book locked up as that would be a very valuable source of information for someone up to no good. Works so far!

At one office I worked in we had a mail cart with slots for everyones mail, but it was filed First name, Last name. I grew up in a world that used Last Name, First Name (i.e. the phone book, standard filing practices etc.) This goes for filing and also how your contacts are ordered in Outlook. Well here is one of my Grrr!

When a meeting is finalized, I put the scheduling sheet in a completed file. I tend to keep my scheduling sheets in chronological order and each morning I go through them to see if there is any action I need to take, i.e. follow up to ask for an agenda or see if I can start scheduling. Learning from each other is a necessity.

This is useful if you want to file the email and change the Subject line to something that better describes what the email is about or to put notes in the email. I think Tasks is one of Outlooks best-kept secrets, but it shouldnt be and is a great way to follow up on items. So how can we know what we dont know?
