Project Management tools can be unwieldy beasts, that’s for sure. I mean, managing a project is supposed to be complicated, isn’t it? Some people, myself included, find themselves being far more productive when they can visualise their tasks, collaborators and current position within a project.

What follows is the process that I now follow everyday. Before I jump into my process, there are a couple of points worth noting. it allows you to dump all the thoughts you have in your head out into a coherent plan, indicate which are just "ideas", which are in process, which require additional info, and much more -- you can attach notes, links, and pictures to any node, color-code your map, save to PDF/print/share -- I am just loving this tool so far!

Now, when I say ‘don’t write’, I don’t mean you should take a break or get away from the keyboard for a day. You see, I had this brilliant idea that I wanted to record some audio files. It’s called sub-vocalization, which is a natural brain process we use while we read. Extra reader win.
