Working at a regional head office, we see a lot of paper. We were recently involved in a capital project to build a new program facility. Instead of filing the PDF on the network, the document was printed and placed in a filing cabinet , where it will sit until doomsday or at least until someone cleans out those files.

We were trying to figure out a way for my Associates and I to share files within my home office but also with my business partner that lives about 20 minutes away.

I always synch all of my files from my main Mac computer in my home office to Dropbox so that I am sure to have all of them handy while on the road by using the app on my phone and tablet. My iPad has an awesome case and keyboard made by Zagg (in red of course to match my business brand!). Use a good task tool.

I find that it is easier to work in an office. I converted a room in our home that acts as an office - desk, file cabinets, computer, adding machine, stapler - the whole 9 yards. My space looks like a business office, but you don't have to go all out. I really needed to get a project completed.
