Here are some of my favourites: Great Apps: Travel. This app is slightly expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot. The app also gives access to real-time departure information, delays and gate numbers. If your manager travels on one airline frequently it is worth downloading their app.

No matter if you are crossing over multiple time zones or simply want to be able to go to the park and work outside, creating your freedom is possible. Fun travel apps are Skype (for calling home), SimplyNoise (great for sleeping in noisy places), Sit or Squat (find a bathroom), and CheapGas. Another life saver?
