Last Saturday was our annual Apple Festival here in my little Maine town, my youngest granddaughter had to be at the field for soccer pictures at 8:20 am, my oldest granddaughter needed a ride to and from work, the local library was holding their book sale and my favorite metaphysical store was holding a special autumn equinox event.

Can you imagine the stress for those parents? I was also casually mentored yesterday while speaking to one of our spiritual leaders.

I hated the mental stress and burden of putting everyone else first and getting only the usual thank you’s and words of appreciation. I would also volunteer at work and socialize with my co-workers during the holiday gift wrapping parties. I mentored other younger assistants. I hated having to do EVERY LITTLE thing for my boss.

But ironically, all that unfinished "little stuff" can stress us out more than the big projects we haven't gotten around to yet. It beats keeping it bottled up causing more stress.
