Create an office bible In case you get sick, go on vacation, or get hit by a bus, it’s always good to have an office bible so your temp or co-worker can have info at their fingertips when needed. I save “food profiles” of each individual for each restaurant. Save emails and details I very rarely delete any emails.

Try to set up the communication of the office so your boss checks their own emails and responds, but you are in charge of all the mtg coordination, phones, and anything that happens in the office. Are there favorites of anything your boss likes - their coffee, restaurants, cafeteria lunch food, etc? Do they know the vm passwords?

The staffing agent asked if I was open to temp to perm, even though the position was for a full time EA, he feels the CEO may need time to see if it is a good fit. I have no idea how long "temp" is considered before they would offer the permanent position. It feels like a bait and switch and there are no guarantees.

I once went to a new restaurant and got such impeccable service it was almost weird. This is why you should give free samples or a great discount and keep in touch with clients at least once a year via a personal email. Then I call and email every vendor. Call every single temping agency in town.
