Having someone spend the time to be your mentor is a privilege, so it’s normal to wonder how to be a good mentee. A great mentor will be someone you can confide in and learn from, to help guide you in your life, your career and everything that falls in between. If an email only mentions grabbing coffee, it may seem less pressing.

During my time there I took the first PA qualification in Guernsey, my HR qualification and also qualified as a Legal PA. Find yourself a mentor that you look up to. I can keep up to date with the Guernsey PA Connect website and emails, my personal and work emails, along with always being able to call anyone if I need to.

I would like to email her after they meet to let her know I am interested in the role. To email her expressing my interest and why I would be great in the role? However, realize you may only get a portion of the truth because if someone is terrible, they are not allowed to say they were terrible for legal reasons, etc.
