Wrote 4 Ebooks In One Month. But the whole process was fun and I learned a lot about how to measure your effort when starting such a task. I confess now that the game took only 15 hours of coding (including some learning of Lua). I used mainly to learn and test the AppStore submission process. In no particular order.

Our parents, our mentors, our employers talked with us. We listened, asked questions, and learned more every time we did. I firmly believe in charging for quality content; for me, ebooks and followup series work great. You may get your ebooks for free but you will have to pay $300 per hour to have a plumber come to your house.

I’m not saying you can’t learn anything mind-blowing from them, but when you indulge yourself in the idea that you need a role model to improve your life, that’s when something’s wrong. If we must become role model to others, then we will have to learn to be more independent ourselves. This is all great.

So they try to be do-it-yourselfers, learning from blogs, ebooks, and other sources of free information. I usually look at the person’s free stuff first, look at where they are in their own business (I only want to learn from people who are where I want to be). And the rest of it, I just follow my intuition.

When you’re writing an ebook or an ecourse, you can’t just jump in on page one and hope for the best. What should the reader have learned or be able to do by the end of your ebook?
